Andrew,
I got interested in that HaikuDepot ticket you mentioned in response to my
introductory email, but after I built it on gcc2h using the jam command, I
get a crash when it tries to connect to the repository. I did not change
any code, simply built-it as-is with the debugging info turned on in my
UserBuildConfig so I can step through the code using DebuggerApp.
Does HaikuDepot need to be run from a particular location or anything? I
simply launched it from the haiku/generated/... folder where the binary and
object files were created.
When I run the built-in HaikuDepot from the Deskbar applications menu, it
does not crash. I'm running on the latest nightly.
I've attached the crash report in a zip file, in case it helps.
