Hi,
A few days ago, I reported a bug about trying to use my Wacom tablet
(it froze the system). Now I've just tried a USB-Ethernet adapter, and
it did the same.

Further -- and being dumb I didn't try this before -- I went back to the
earlier rev, and USB *does* work there! On both the Wacom and the adapter.

So to amend the bug report, what do I do? Open a new ticket and refer
the old one to it? Or continue with the old report, even though I realise
the actual cause is deeper.

For reference, the USB works or r29462, and doesn't on r30629.
(And any chance it was noticed and fixed since then? Downloading
and installing new versions is a bit tedious for me, so I only like
to do it for known fixes. And the earlier rev doesn't work with
xicon, which hampers me in a different way!)

[There's still a little bug with the Wacom BTW -- I have to hold the
pen upside down, or else I seem to have a permanent button press! (:-/]

                        -- Pete --
