Good afternoon!

We have been announcing a migration to Gerrit for quite some time. I
feel like we have reached critical-mass on pulling the trigger.
I'll keep this email chain updated with the current state of things.

Going as smoothly as can be expected.  DNS TTL's are expiring and
waddlesplash and I are tuning the edges to make things well rounded.

Expect a warning from SSH about:
  @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
  @    WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED!     @
  @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

If you see such a warning, feel free to:

  ssh-keygen -R git.haiku-os.org

Good evening.

Everything has gone well, and services are stable.
We are now running git/Gerrit/cgit/irker on maui, and everything core is operational.

waddlesplash got git over http working, and i've put redirects in
to insure url compatibility.

Existing repositories should continue to function as usual minus the
ssh id change above.

Working:

  * cgit.haiku-os.org
  * git.haiku-os.org
  * review.haiku-os.org
  * irc / email commit notifications
  * hrev / btrev tagging on push
  * ssl certs

TODO's:

  * buildbot commit triggers
  * github sync
  * update documentation around our repositories

REMINDER: If your ssh keys don't work, make sure you have registered on https://review.haiku-os.org, had your account added to the contributors group, and added your public keys to your account. I can still pull public keys from the old baron git server if needed, but i need to know sooner than later.

I'm logging off for the evening, and will be back early tomorrow to check for any issue reports.

Thanks!
