Nonetheless this is how it will work for > the just announced Deskbar2. :-D I merely am waiting for you to provide an implementation :) In the meantime I've split out the clock settings from the rest of the Deskbar settings and make MessageReceived hooks for the interested party to use all neatly tucked away in StatusView.cpp (rather than, say, PreferencesWindow.cpp) to make a clock replicant easier to integrate into Deskbar.
