Yes, off = on would solve the blinking. However, off != on would be *very* problematic: Imagine you have the cursor on e.g. blue background. Instead of blinking between the original blue background and the cursor color, it would blink between the cursor color and the usual background color (because that is what you would usually set you cursor off color to). Now the other issue I have with this approach: If you set your off color to something that is not the background color, you will just blink between two colors. But who honestly wants that? It would be even more annoying than the blinking! :) -- Jonathan
