#7729: KDL in Dell Lattitude D430 -------------------------+----------------------- Reporter: DFergATL | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: - General | Version: R1/alpha3 Resolution: | Keywords: KDL Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: x86 -------------------------+----------------------- Comment (by anevilyak): Replying to [comment:2 DFergATL]: > I have a usb. I remember that there is a way to write that info to a file onto the USB. But, I don't remeber how, or I could be crazy and thinking about something else. If you reboot immediately after the KDL without powering off, holding down shift at the very beginning of the boot process (i.e. before the Haiku logo appears) will bring you into the boot loader menu. In there, you will find a menu labelled Debug Options. If the in-memory log hasn't been overwritten already, that submenu will contain an item labelled "Save syslog from previous session", which is what you're looking for. > If you can tell me how to do that I will be more then happy to do it. And/Or I could try to take a picture. Would you want the KDL that comes when booting to the desktop or the one that happens when trying to run the installer or both? Preferably both if they differ. Assuming your keyboard works in KDL, please also include the output of the "bt" command. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7729#comment:3> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
