 The reason for putting that check in there was because to lower the number
 of extraneous resolutions presented in the Screen preferences. However,
 that's really not the place where this filtering should be done, so your
 change definitely sound reasonable.

 We should just put some filter in the Screen preferences (possibly one
 that can be disabled if needed), so that you only get a few common modes,
 and not so many of them, most of them unusable anyway.
