If you are able to build for yourself, you can do one additional change:
in Driver.h, add a {{{#define TRACE_RNDIS 1}}} before the {{{#if
TRACE_RNDIS}}}

Then build and install the driver. This will result in more information
being put in the syslog. Hopefully I can find something interesting there.
