I am afraid I'll have to pause this ticket for now (unless someone else
could pick it up of course): the DDI interface is one I cannot test myself
yet as I have no such system at my disposal. (late gen7/gen8 systems).
When looking at datasheets from Intel I am having trouble locating enough
info from that and also I see much differences compared to the older
systems. It's a bit as I suggestion in the forum (I think) earlier: it's a
hard job creating a gfx driver that supports all these variations..
