 Adding the Linux changes did not help (only tried with 2 cards, will try
 with one later today). Anyway, considering the symptoms, I would be
 impressed if this was the actual issue (why would it cause a KDL)?

 That being said,  probably should enable debug in FreeBSD and compare what
 is happening. The Haiku output seems a bit weird in the sense that there
 are references to both 82575 and i210 but not all i210 code seems to
 actually be in the callchain where they should.
