I actually fully agree with waddlesplash.
I've always found it slightly annoying to have to register... but its a
very small price for some reduction in trolling.
The original bug report is definitely invalid in context... something must
be wrong with bbjimmy's client. I've been logged in and have been helping
yayfoxes get Haiku installed. IRC is high enough on the "nerd chart of
nerdiness" that not requiring authentication is of little advantage
anyway. I dare you to find a non programmer/tech savvy friend that knows
what it is I think I've only ever met like 2.
