Sounds good to me. I never had a real agenda other than "show up and talk about or work on open source hardware". Like dorkbot, no money changes hands, we don't vote for leaders, etc.
If I'm feeling better I will show up as I'm going stir-crazy being sick at home.

Looks like we have enough interest to go ahead with the meeting? I could show it. I will need some advice on the mechanics. It has what appears to be non standard couplings on the screws which will need to be replaced. Whatever connected to these must have also had some type of thrust bearing for that end of the screw. I will probably need help fabricating some type of bearing block. Once I solve that issue I just need to add some NEMA 23 steppers and controllers; I have already started on these. -Bob On Oct 8, 2012, at 11:57 AM, "j. eric townsend" <jet@xxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:jet@xxxxxxxxxxxx)> wrote:I am sick with the plague and suspect I won't be there tomorrow night.
