If it is still available I would like to get it from you - I would like the
high end hot end and glass bed - some of the other upgrades I would like to
discuss and may be able to do myself (might even be able to do these upgrades
with a little help) . That being said ~360-365 is that about what you are
thinking ? If so I want it. Let me know if it is still available and when I
would be able to get it.
I am still planning on doing the group build, has there been a voting email
yet ? I am still torn on which I will vote for but will do whatever the group
decides upon.

As far as the hotends go the upgrade pricing on that is roughly $35 for
the lite version of the hotend and $75 for the "full" version. The Lite
Version is the lower temp version that does the main materials (ABS and PLA and
a few others), while the full version will take you up through almost all of
the exotics (like the nylons) that require much higher temps.
Other upgrades would likely be a glass bed, likely similar in cost to the
other beds, so somewhere in the $12-16 dollar range, and maybe some small
hardware for stiffening mods, etc.
Most of the upgrades are simply printed parts, nuts and bolts.

Bob - make sure to grab a hardened nozzle if you are doing the carbon fill.
Even the light will print the carbon fiber pla, and other lower temp exotics,
but most of the metal impregnated filaments now recommend the hardened nozzles
due to increased nozzle wear.

Chris and I bought a few Monoprice printers when they dipped recently in price.
Our intent was to offer them up to the 3DPPGH group in case you may have wanted
to buy one but missed the price drop. These are all new printers, and our plan
is to “tweak” them for hand off to interested buyers. Keep in mind that Chris
and I would not be making money here – just trying to help you dive in with a
really neat (but also inexpensive) printer. This is a labor of love more than

the printers.

I am not trying to dissuade anyone from the group build, but you will notice
