As makers, we often need a board in a hurry, such as the night before
MakerFaire :-)
A lot of my maker projects use milled PCB boards. If the design doesn’t need a
2 sided board with 8 mil traces, I will almost always use a board I milled at
HackPGH. Many of my projects use them.

I understand the desire to mill your own PCB, but if it's a board you want to
use in a real application (not just testing footprints or layouts) I would
strong suggest using a real fab.
