Dear Hank,
I’m not sure if we have ever met. Please know that your video has lifted my
heart and reminded me to savor the beauty around us during these crazy times.
Your video is a kind of deep, cleansing, reenergizing breath.
Thanks to all who participated and yes, a grateful shout out to Dan Driscoll of
DCR. A prince of a man and an unwavering advocate for for the river and our
natural environment.
Gratefully,

Thanks, Dan! I'll go down and check them out later today.
Meanwhile, if you have 5 minutes, you might enjoy this video that includes
our Watertown Dam's sparkling schools.

They've arrived at the Watertown Dam! A wonder of nature. Thick schools
that sparkle in the light when they get flustered and show their fins
above the water. (To see them, you have to stare into the still eddies.)
They're about 8-10 inches long. Supposedly they're going up the fish
ladder, but we couldn't see any there. Some bigger fish (bass, I've been
told) are circulating at the buffet.
