I talked with Russo’s today and they are willing to work with us to take
donations for the Watertown Food Pantry.
Each person would call Victor at Russo’s and buy a gift card which would
be saved for the Watertown Food Pantry director, Kathy Cunningham, to
purchase fresh food. The WFP is open Tuesday mornings and Thursday late
afternoons. However, bags for clients will have to be prepackaged so people
can just run in and pick them up. One person at a time only allowed in church
where the supplies are. There are regular deliveries of food, but Kathy likes
to purchase fresh food since I expect some sources won’t be able to provide
any more. I hope they will and that the grab and go method works.
A minimum of $25 donation works for Russo's. I’m thinking that I’d be
happy to amalgamate lesser donations if people want to call me with an amount
and write a check, or drop off cash.
Please let me know if this is something people care to participate in so I
can tell Kathy and Victor what to expect.

Can anyone tell me about the payment methods mentioned in the link I sent,
eg venmo and others.
