Like Eileen, I associate this with bright sunny weather. But the key factor is
wind from the northwest, which, according to my weather app, is what prevails

There used to be some relationship with weather—the direction planes had to
fly out of Boston regardless of where going. As i recall, cloudy weather
sent them over us. Who knows the reasons now. There have been committees for
decades. Definitely call if you notice a difference ( I havent, but rarely
have. Poor hearing? Kids loved seeing them). Tell our Reps also. They are
responsive and may have info.

didn't care so much about the noise they caused when poor people lived
there but now that money is moving in, and they're all complaining too,
