Day (Wed 2nd Aug-week 4). We have 8 schools coming so far which is awesome
for a small Town like Gympie and have room for maybe 2 more schools (small
teams of 4-6)? It's an entry level thing intended for beginners, so please
don't hesitate to give it a go. We are all learning and helping each other

The teacher PD last term for this event was great with 7 teachers coming
along plus Lindy Orwin helped out (thankyou). We also had 3 teachers doing
the day training remotely by webinar and were competently looked after by
Madi. I've been busy creating new resources on our StemAcademy
<http://www.stemacademy.com.au/> to support all the things we do so please
check it out.
I've made a course to support you and your students for the upcoming Gympie
Scratch Coding and Robotics Challenge

create a login. Please check out the support site/course and let me know if
anything doesn't make sense as I've just finished it yesterday. It has a
forum just for that event so don't be afraid to use it. It also has heaps
of support resources (I just need to fix up a few holes in the sumo robotics
help stuff- getting onto it shortly).
There is a tentative schedule for the day but that depends on who is doing
what on the day i.e. how many for scratch and how many for robotics. I
might put a question in the forum
