Hi all,
Just a quick email to let you know that we still have some places available
for our Short & Sweet Workshop Morning which is being held next Saturday 29th
July at the Contemporary Learning Hub at Meridan State College. I'm hoping
you might share this info with your staff so that they can take advantage of
these short but sweet PD sessions to boost their skills in ICTs and digital

Sessions with places still available include:
Wonder no more about OneNote
If you've heard how wonderful OneNote is but have never had the confidence to
give it a go, then this is the workshop for you. Come along to this practical
workshop to learn how to use the key features of OneNote and to discover how
you and your students can benefit from this powerful digital note taking tool.
Easy Peasy EdStudios
If you want to set up a shared online space for your class or staff to access
but aren't sure how, then join us for this session. We'll show you how you can
quickly and easily set up your own EdStudio space on Education Queensland's
Learning Place. Learn how to add text, images, video and interactive components
such as blogs and forums to your EdStudios. You'll have a simple EdStudio set
up and ready to go by the end of the session.
Algorithms, Bots and Components
This hands-on workshop is designed to be a fun, practical introduction to the
Digital Technologies learning area for Primary educators. Participants will
each receive a Bee-Bot programmable floor robot to keep and use in their class.
They will develop an understanding of algorithms and learn how they can support
students to take their first steps in programming using digital and unplugged
activities.
We also have a range of other great events coming up including our Leading,
Learning and Collaborating 365 Programs, our annual Infinite Ideas Online
Numeracy Festival and our Play, Wonder and Learn Conference. Details of all
of our events are online at
