Hi Laura,

I searched my whole winxp hard drive under windows 98, so it doesn't seem to
have anything to do with unhidden files or administrator access. They just
simply aren't there. I've just searched my win98 drive, and discovered a
mycomptername.pwl file in the c:\windows folder.

When I said "connection window", I meant the one which I open to go online,
I.e. the one my adsl provider stuff--login name, pasword (the thing in
question), and a dial number, which, of course, for adsl is 0.

As for OE accounts, my passwords are saved without a hitch. Ah well, there's
no limit to windows challenges, is there?

Good luck to you too, and let's see if anyone else has anything to say about
all this.

Best regards,

Denis
