I don’t think it’s bad for the dog’s hearing.

But, it would definitely get on my nerves! My dogs either go totally naked at home or just wear a plain half check with no tags. This way they are practically noiseless!

Erm, I wouldnt have said so as its not so loud as to deafent he dog, is it? I'd have said the dog would just get used to it. I wouldnt do it myself, as the noise would get on my nerves, never mind the dog's!!!

hi all
ok this might sound like a strange question but i have a friend who leaves the play collar with bell on all the time when the dog isn't working, but recently he's been told by someone that having the bell on all the time is bad for the dog's hearing. does anyone know if this is actually true? thanks :)
