Yes, Joni still signs - using a pen held in her mouth - all her artwork 'PTL' -
so I thought I'd use it as well.
Have you ever heard her sing?
I had a couple of albums of hers, but I played them to death. However, if you
google 'Spirit Wings' you'll find a link to a post of that song on you tube.
Her ability to project her voice despite having no feeling or movement below
her neck is amazing!
I first read her two autobiographies, 'Joni' and 'A step further' twenty odd
years ago. You can get them from the Torch Talking Book library.
I've met Joni on four occasions, and she really is a very special person.
Forget celebs and stars and that kind of glittery rubbish, people like Joni
always inspire me.
(Mind you, the first one to do that for me was Corrie Ten Boom, whom I met in
1980. She was on her way to China...three days after her THIRD heart attack.
She, too, had a joy inside her which was hard to contain.

we have had a lot of rain on and off, but certainly did not stop the kids last
night, no flour or eggs though this year,
have had a day rugging, want to get out a few orders before Christmas, have
vertually finished shopping now, just a few stocking fillers, and a play gym
for our little Noah,
