In an attempt to lead from behind, as office holder and supreme potentate
(DICK) of the Sept lunch I’m willing to amend the plan A to Falmouth plan B
and move said luncheon (or even duplicate it) to Friday 3 Sept and amend
the 3 Oct meeting as we see fit… (would a Cracker Barrel be motivation for
Scoutman?)
This has everything to do with the fact that 1-Gayle and Ralph raise the
good-lookin-quotient enough that we all look better in their presence:2-
while I’m busy at the end of August and end Sept there’s no earthly reason
to miss each other’s company until early Oct… we can do both! (too, Dr Bugs
never knows when he’s going to have to breast feed some
insect/arthropod-whatever so the more frequent we meet the better the odds
of seeing his mug)
Any objections, give them to the next Dick.

After much review and study I have chosen the Smoking Pig BBQ in Falmouth,

Given the busy Sept timing of myself and my homeys… we will meet on the
5th Friday in Sept, which happens to be 1 October. One caveat is Smoking
Pig has advertised needing a cook and willing to pay $10-13/hr, so if it’s
looking like we will have to cook, wash dishes and turn in our own orders I
will formulate a plan B. But for now let’s aim in that general direction.
