What if we have the magnet picture frames in their bags and just upload the
photos to the website and they can download which ever photos they want?
We would still have people taking photos. Maybe a couple of people can
bring cameras and we can walk around taking photos before sessions start,
during breaks, during lunch, prize give a ways and during opening and
closing sessions? Because connecting, printing and disconnecting between
shots will be a pain. We could order the frames and have GSIS on them.
Just another thought.

Two 4x6 photos per page of photo paper. 10 pks of paper from Quill $100.00
OR 8x10 per page and $200.00.

Extra ink cartridges 200.00?

Magnetic logo imprinted frames, 8 x 11 =$1495 or 4x6 $720.

And still have enough money to pay someone to handle if we wanted. I know
several young photographers who would be interested.

But like I said, it was just an idea I threw out there.

I personally wouldn't want a flashlight, car charger or bag clip. I
already have multiples of those things. The tablets or some really nice
door prizes are a good idea. The attendees live for those drawings.

Great idea, but then you have to think of who will be taking the picture,
cost of printing the picture, printer (if needed, meaning someone doesn’t
already have one), cost of ink and whatever else I may be missing.

Not shooting it down, just thinking out loud J What if we do something
like this and post them on-line on our website…however it still would
require workers to man the picture taking. But I do love this idea, I
still have a funny group picture we took at GaETC in 2011, it wasn’t framed
but all was provided by “the fun stuff and much more”.
http://www.thefunstuff.net/photo_booth.aspx, they have the GaETC logo and
other info on it, I’ll try to scan it and share.

Pricilla and Twanda you should have a copy too!

Burning a hole in the pocket I see. WOW! I notify everyone of the
donation and then have to leave and when I come back, everyone is trying to
figure out how to spend it. lol

I do think we should share with all our attendees and supporters.

Just and idea....what if we had one big square banner (12'x12') made with
the state map on it like our shirts (to give the people what they want) ,
along with our logo, then take pictures of individuals or groups in front
of it and give the 4"x6" pictures to them as a commemorative token. We
might could even afford some sort of magnetic frame or other type frame
with 2014 GSIS Conference on it.

 http://www.pfile.com/product/par-j-mpcst/Magnetic-Picture-Frames

We could give each attendee at check in, a special colored ticket that they
could use to get one photo.

You could do the flashlights (1005), car charger (625), bag clips (295) and

I just selected those items as an example of cost J

I also like the car charger idea. The Samsung tablets cost around $180 ea
from CDW or Wal-Mart

I think a give-a-away is great! My concern about T-shirts are the sizes.
What about some promotional-type items with GSIS logo (see attachment) and
purchasing a couple of really good door prizes?

Ok, question. What did the people like most about the t-shirts? Was most
comments about the map on the back?

I didn't think about that. I like that idea, too. The attendee's may
appreciate that more.

Denise, would the $3300 cover the cost for about 500 shirts?

>>> Denise Epperson <denise.epperson@xxxxxxxx> 10/29/2013 8:12 AM >>>

I don’t know if anyone would be interested, but what if we used it to buy
shirts to go in the bags? Or something special to put in the bags?

WOW!!!! We need to think of something special to do with that. I wonder if
there is a motivational type speaker we could pay to speak during lunch?
Any ideas? O we might use that for the interpreters at this conference.

I wanted to let everyone know about something. We received a check for
$3200.00, but no registration to go with it. The only info Anna had was the
address on a cashiers check drawn from the Credit Union of GA. I've made
some calls and investigated and have learned some surprising news. The
$3200.00 is an anonymous DONATION. The woman has an account with the credit
union and purposely did not include any further info. Isn't this amazing. I
bet this has never happened before. I wish we could thank her.
