Thank you for considering my application for Board membership. My plans are
to stay employed at Carroll County Schools until I retire in approximately
10 years. I do not anticipate any issues that would prevent me from meeting
5 times per year.
I have attached a copy of my resume. In all of my positions, I have served
on multiple dynamic teams to drive change at the company or school. I was
Teacher of the Year for Villa Rica High School in 2006 and Temple High
School in 2013. Additionally, I was in the GLISI Aspiring Leaders program
in 2016 & 2017.
In my current role, some of my duties include:
- Oversee all Student Records responsibilities, including our Central
Registration Department
- Perform all State Reporting requirements (FTE, Student Class, Student
Record,) while working very closely with CPI
- Provide monthly training to Principals, Assistant Principals,
Counselors, Special Ed In School Coordinators, Social Workers, Registrars
and Infinite Campus Teacher Coaches
- Manage all things Infinite Campus
- Serve on multiple dynamic groups including our District Technology
Team that oversees technology initiatives for the school system

applications provides an opportunity to highlight some specific areas
within our bylaws for your consideration as your application is reviewed.
Please review the following. Provide any questions, requested follow up
answers, or any desires you may have to change the status of your
application after reviewing the following.
Board members must be currently employed by any educational facility
within the state of Georgia.
Please consider this requirement and any near future plans you have
regarding your current employment. These plans could include leaving the
Georgia educational facility due to change of employment, retirement, etc.
Board members are elected for a minimum of one year.
Newly elected board members usually enjoy their service on the board,
inspiring them to serve on the board for a number of years. Please consider
the previously listed bylaw as you review this requirement. Will your plans
have an impact on your ability to fulfill this requirement?
The Board meets a minimum of 5 times per year.
Members failing to attend three meetings in a year will prompt an
automatic discussion between the president and the board member to
determine whether the board member will continue on the board.
Please provide specific information regarding your accomplishments while
employed in public education, elaborating on your role and responsibilities.
