Yes I am talking about a printer that would be a new install like a usb
printer that will need the driver installed

Eric-

What setting did you use to restrict install or uninstall software?
Typically installing printers is a different operation. If the printer is a
new device, that requires driver installs, that is a different and specific
user right (load and uninstall device drivers) from installing user
software.

I have it set so that users can not install or uninstall software. Is there
a way to keep this setting but make it possible to install a printer that
they may plug in via usb?
