Sadly, Mobile Geo will only run on Windows Mobile based Pocket PC and SmartPhones. The KNFB Reader software will only run on the Nokia 6620 classic, N82 and N86 phones, which are Symbian based. The BlackBerry however, does not use Windows Mobile or Symbian. So it will not be able to run either Mobile Geo or KNFB Reading Software. If you want a Windows Mobile Based Pocket PC phone to run Mobile Geo on, I'd recommend the Samsung Epix. If you would rather have a Windows Mobile based SmartPhone to run Mobile Geo on, I'd recommend the HTC S743. I personally went with the HTC S743 SmartPhone as I did not want a Pocket PC device with a touch screen.Nick Stockton----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed and Christy Crespin" <crespin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, August 30, 2009 8:12 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: phones for mobile geoI am very confused about what kind of product to purchase. I like the Blackberry, but I like to have GPS capability and I like the idea of having a reading option such as the KNFB Reader. Can anyone help? Thanks. None I know of have extra big buttons. Most we recommend have better than average buttons. There are a couple of big button phones out there but none that run with Geo. They are usually not meant to have applications added.Mike At 05:51 PM 8/25/2009, you wrote:Hi Everyone,I am evaluating different GPS options with a client of mine and Mobile Geo is one of the devices we're exploring. My client has some neuropathy in his fingers, so it's difficult for him to distinguish the small buttons on the unit I have (SMT 5800), but I don't know about all of the possible compatible phones. Does anyone know of a compatible phone that has larger than average or more distinctive buttons? Thanks, Julie HapemanMichael G.
