Hello Mike,

I agree with Teresa Christian's idea about doing a podcast or having a phone link.

Best regards,

Ila

Subject: [gps-talkusers] our friends headed for the South Pole

I just got a call via satellite phone from one of the team skiing 600 miles
to the South Pole. One of their blind participants is using Mobile Geo when
it is his turn to lead the group.

They have now completed one third of the trip with no major health or
equipment problems. They had their first resupply today.

The temperature is around 0 with 30 mile per hour head winds. It is minus
40F at the pole so it will get colder as they approach.

We are scheduled to have a call from them on Monday and will report more
afterwards.

Mike
