I'm in the same boat here regarding trying to make a decision as to whether or
not to purchase the iPhone. I'm with A T and T, have been for years, but chose
to just continue to use my N 82 and wait and see about renewing my contract
when it ran out several months ago.

So, how are you folks using the GPS on the iPhone, especially when using public
transportation such as the bus or taxi? Are you using a Bluetooth headset, are
you just turning the volume of the iPhone down real low and pressing the phone
to your ear so as not to disturb others, or are you using a Bluetooth Braille
display? And, are you able to do other things such as email or compose a
document, while you are following a route? Also, if I'm understanding things
correctly, the Sendero LookAround program for the iPhone is currently meant to
be used on its own to determine current location and surroundings information,
or possibly in conjunction with other iPhone GPS applications to enhance the
GPS experience?
