Thanks, Mike, for the input! That sounds great to me! It will keep me from having to worry about losing power that often.

Thanks, again!

The Radio Shack speaker runs on a 9 volt battery. When
I used to use it all the time, it would last several months before needing to be replaced. At 04:04 PM 2/19/2007, you wrote:
Diane,

I am not sure how long the Radio Shack speakers last.
But, if you are using the BrailleNote GPS throughout an entire day with constnat use in the GPS application, I have found that both the BrailleNote mPower and the Holux will last at least 12 hours. I am sure that the Radio Shack speaker will last at least this amount of time, if not longer, but I am not able to say for sure, as I mainly use a bluetooth ear piece when traveling.

Hi, Everyone!

Another question for you!

When using the feature that gives things every 12
seconds or so, how long does the battery last for the BN, the speaker, and the receiver? (referring to the Radio Shack Amplifier Speaker using a 9-volt battery)

Thanks for the info!
