When you add media to a POI the file is saved in the PDB file. For example you
attach
an audio file that is 500KB, your user.pdb file is now at least 500KB. When you
remove
the media file from your POI your user.pdb file is still at least 500KB. Using
the Free POI Database Space option shrinks the database to the size it
was before adding the audio file. This
task is not executed automatically as it could take a while. If you add/remove
media
files it is a good idea to select the Free POI Database Space option on
a regular basis. The Free POI Database Space option is located in the
Advanced GPS options menu. From within ?Sendero GPS, press O for GPS
options. Scroll to Advanced GPS options and press ENTER. Finally
scroll to the "free database space for user POIs and favorites" and
press ENTER.
