Thanks Mike. I knew we had waas, but didn't know what the Europeans called the equivalent. British commercial poi's used to be less than the American. Could some of the British members on how much or if any improvements they have seen in the maps please?? They are called WAAS in the US and EGNOS in Europe. When you see WAAS reported with your GPS accuracy, and you are in Europe, that actually means you are picking up EGNOS, which results in the same benefit. Maps of course vary from town to town as do points of interest data. Do you have more commercial poi's?? Does anyone know if my receiver which gets American satelites will get good coverage. I will be in both Britain and Scotland. Most of my time will be spent in Aberdeen. Does anyone live in that area who has direct information? Thanks in advance, Judy
