Thank you for setting me and everyone else on this list straight on what you
want to sell. I wish to apologize to everyone for not understanding
completely.
The Earthmate GPS receiver is about the smallest GPS receiver I have ever
heard of, and it has wireless capability with its Bluetooth adapter. I have
one, but have not had the chance to get it up and running yet. I think you
can buy the basic receiver for about one hundred dollars, but do not know
what the wireless adapter costs.

Hey Dick! you're going to drive me crazy. For the life of me who said I'll
sell my BN! Whats up with you! I bet that you've never used the BN or any
Braille PDA. No one can sell or abandoning his/her BN after getting used to
it. Using the BN is like being addicted to drugs. You cannot quit using your
BN no matter what problems you face. At least that's my opinion. The BN has
all my school homework, my presentations, my syllabuses, my appointments
etc. How can I sell it!!!!! It's impossible I cannot live without my BN.
Hey dick! From where do you get your info! When Did I say that the GPS
just operate in the U.S.! As far as I know, there are Canadian, Belgium,
German, UK, Sweden, French, Swiss, Netherlands and Irish maps for the BN.
Did you just invent it up?! Do you have that much of free time and you don't
know how to spend your time? As for me I'm not ready to waste my time in
nonsense stuff. I have two projects due this semester. If you keep sending
your nonsense e-mails, I'll go no mail or I'll use a cool feature in

It's not your business to know why I want to sell my GPS, however,
Since it seems you'll die just to know why I want to sell my GPS, I'm going
to say my reasons to the list.
I travel a lot and my laptop is the most important thing I take with
me. When I go to uni, I always take my laptop and sometimes I take my BN
when I need it. Usually I use the BN at home for studying. When I like to
hang out in the weekends or vacations, I prefer to be as light loaded as I
can. Beside I hate wires. I prefer everything to be wireless. I was thinking
to get the PK but the facts that it has 18 cells changed my mind. I read a
lot, so it'll not do me any good. I'm happy with my 32bt. I'm going to spend
couple of month in Germany and I know that the BN GPS will work there. I'm
saying it again "I know that the BN GPS will work there" Just I'm repeating
in case someone will attack me claiming that I don't have senses. I'm going
to try wayfinder with talks. I know that the BN GPS is more powerful than
wayfinder but by using talks and wayfinder I'll get the info I need and I'll
not be forced to carry my BN which I find quite bulky. Yeah since I
mentioned Talks, I encourage everyone who is using talks to try the latest
version. It works quite well with wap. If you're living in Denver try going
to www.gortd.com to
access the bus schedule in Denver. It's great when
you're at the bus stop and want to know when the next
bus is.
OOps, I lost track. I'm looking for a powerful GPS with accessible interface
and Bluetooth receiver. It should be easy to carry and not bulky as the BN
GPS. I prefer if I can put both the receiver and the transmitter in my
pocket. That would be awesome. I'm looking forward when the Win CE version
of Hal will be released. I believe when that happen, we blinds will be able
to get any GPS system off the shelf.
Those were the reasons why I want to sell my GPS. Are you glad now
Mr.Richard!? Yeah and I don't know why you mentioned Leb and what the
relationship between your attacks and the guy from Lebanon. Anyway, I'm not
from Lebanon.
Finally, we have a proverb it's roughly translated to English:
"IF the maltreater insults you, don't answer him, silence is a better answer
for him". This translation doesn't give the exact meaning but it has a
denotation for the meaning.
I apologize from the list buy posting this e-mail or any e-mail I posted
that is not related to the list.. As I said above, I'll keep silent no
matter what Dick Reply or others. I'll send e-mails when I have a question
to ask related to GPS. I didn't want all these threads to reach to this
direction but he insisted.

However, I speak with many years of experience in many undeveloped areas
of
the world. Mr. Khalid seems to be laboring under the illusion that his
gadget will operate only in the US. I and some others on this list have
been trying to explain to him that it will operate anywhere on Earth with

without maps. I use my GPS here in the Philippines without maps. Maps
would be a little more convenient, that is true, but even so, it works
just
fine. He should not throw away such a costly piece of equipment. Since
the
best offer he has received for it to date is $800, I will offer $1000
cash,
and I might even be talked into selling it back to him for the same price
when he returns to the US and returns to his senses.

Hi all,
Dick, you were rude and inconsiderate. The gentleman has good reasons
for what he wants to do. There may be additional reasons which he is
not at liberty to disclose. Having lived in a developing country,
allbeit for only two weeks, I can see that there may be lots of
reasons why possession of high tech equipment might not be wanted.
If you take your blinders off, you might see them as well.
If I were he, I'd not sell my stuff unless I needed the money.
Rather, I would find a friend or relative here in the U.S. with whom
to store the device. It would need to be somebody I trusted, but I
think that might be possible.
Selling the system is also an option, and I believe that Mr. Halid has
probably thought through his options before settling on this one. You
are short-sighted in the extreme when you accuse him of not thinking
through his options. You cannot know where he is going, who he is
staying with, what kind of conditions he will be living under.
There's a whole passel of stuff you don't know. I postulate that your
advice is merely given out of spite and ignorance.
