Sounds good, I just got the update. I'll for sure take a long look at it.

Yes, I was. I had never used the earlier version but I am very impressed with
this little app.

Were you using the new release that just came out? I am really impressed with
all the new features they have added since the last release.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Ariabne, first impressions:

Hello there!
I've just come back from a rather intriguing walk. I used Ariadne Gps and
this is my first impression. I have not sat down to actually see how this
works in detail but here is what I have found thus far.
MPH. You have a button on the home screen which tells you how fast you are
traveling. For the first time, I actually knew what it actually felt like to
travel at 3 miles per hour (The speed at which the first Seeing Eye Dogs
were trained to travel.) Address information. As I traveled a mile or so, I
was given addresses as I passed.
Explore position: You need to put in information as to where you want to
explore and since I was moving all the time, I backed out of that.
Location information. I had a time with this, once I got into it, I couldn't
find a button to get out of it but when I shook the phone, it brought me
back to the home screen of the app You also have wifi and data information
and on this, of course, I used my data plan which is no big deal since I use
the cell phone only when I travel.
On the whole, I am extremely impressed with this little app for walking. In
the car, I don't know how I personally would use it.
But, with this and the Sendero Look around for general very basic exercising
your dog when you don't want to carry around a notetaker, this should be
good.
And let me say, yesterday on that trip to the Disability office we talked
about on thursday, the cab driver said he wanted to keep me in the cab as
the navigator all day. I used the Sendero GPS and he told me his gps was
keeping up nicely with mine.
Happy traveling, everybody!
