Hello Sendero friends and GPS users.

Big things always happen around CSUN in March and at the summer shows in
July. Sendero has been listening to you and has some exciting announcements
for CSUN next week.

1. It is a bit early for 2012 maps but they will be coming in the next
couple months along with software improvements. See some of the new features
at Sendero booth 521 or come by the Sendero suite (room #968) after-hours.

2. Sendero Group and its collaborators are in the beginning stages of
creating a fully accessible turn-by-turn accessible GPS iPhone application.

Yes, you heard that right. Sendero is looking for users of various iPhone
GPS applications to help prioritize the features in this new application.

Users will be selected by Sendero to attend one of two noon sessions in our
suite (room #968) Thursday and Friday based on a form you can fill out at
http://senderogroup.com/news/csunform.asp

Note: Despite some users who say that you can perform all the necessary GPS
functions on the iPhone, we are still of the firm belief that this is not
true if you really understand and use the many features of the other
accessible Sendero GPS software. The accessible GPS iPhone app can be a
fantastic addition to the more comprehensive Sendero GPS products with
Braille or QWERTY keyboards and with built-in Braille displays.

3. We recommend attending the following CSUN presentations:

M-Enabling: A New Paradigm for Persons with Disabilities, Wednesday Feb. 29,
8:00AM, Elizabeth B, 2nd Floor Mike May and 5 other panelists will take ten
minutes each to give their perspectives on various aspects of emerging
technologies.

iPhone/iOs and Android Accessibility

9:20AM, Edward CD

Mike May and Peter Cantisani will highlight some of the cooler iPhone and
Android apps.

Exploring GPS Descriptive Wayfinding

Thursday March 1, 3:10PM, Bob Sweetman, Betsy AB 2nd floor

Accessible Maps to Teach Location Literacy Friday March 2: 8:00AM, Edward
CD. Mike May and others will demonstrate and discuss the powerful aspects of
the talking map features on the Windows PC using Sendero Maps and APH
Talking PC Maps.

4. HIMS has announced the release of the Braille Sense U2 PDA! The U2
offers a more powerful processor, 32GB of internal memory, and much more!

Sense Navigation. Leap ahead and pre-order the new U2 before February 29th
and get 10% off the bundle price of the U2 and Sense Nav GPS from Sendero
Group. If you already have a 2011 Sense Nav license, there will be no charge
to transfer it to a new U2 when ordered from Sendero.

2011.1! Current users can download the software from their GoSendero page.
