[gpodder] WebService API: Language selection for podcast toplist and tag

Hi,
I am Sven, the developer of uPod (
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.upod.app) -- another
podcast player for Android. At the moment I am hosting my own directory and
sync service for the app, but currently I am thinking about switching to
gpodder.
I have one question regarding the web service API: I would like to use the
toplist (http://gpodder.net/toplist/10.json) and podcasts for tag (
http://gpodder.net/api/2/tag/technology/10.json) requests. On the gpodder
website the user can filter the results by language, but I haven't found
any way to filter the language using the webservice interface. I've already
tried a "lang=de" query parameter and I've also tried a "Accept-Language"
header set to "de-DE", but nothing worked.
Any tips?
