I wonder if this mail will reach anyone within the current worm blast. I'm
currently at ~ 100 incoming virusmails per hour... It lacks the cool
attachment, so maybe it has a chance. :)
A quick update adressing some previously mentioned issues: glGo 0.0.3.1
ready for download

The new animation is stupid, no doubt, and certainly not the final version.
But I was looking for how to do such stuff. This seems to be the way to go,
by laying a second texture over a stone and animating this, while the
original texture keeps static. The black stones changed and now look more
like the gGo/Java black stones. The light reflexion is now realistic, it
moves according to the light position.
If you want to play with the textures, replace the .bmp files in the share/
directory. Just keep the 64x64 size, else it won't work. To be exact, any
2^n x 2^n size is ok.

Changelog:

     * Added two sort of last move markers:
       - The old known circle mark. Looks ok with antialiasing, ugly without.
       - A fancy multitexture effect. The effect itself is *stupid*, but I
was trying
what's possible with overlaying multiple textures. This seems the
way to get
a good effect. This is only available in hardware mode and a card
which
supports the GL_ARB_multitexture extension (most cards should, even my
         ancient TNT1 does).
If in doubt, get the glview tool: http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/
     * Enable GL_ARB_multisample extension if supported, this gives a good
antialias
effect. Only available in hardware mode with a recent graphiccard.
It will be
enabled automatically if available. There is no menu switch.
     * Couple of small fixes to GTP support.
     * Fixed Windows installer (hopefully) to show the license page.
     * Changed Windows textfiles from UNIX to DOS linebreaks.
     * Added the stone play sound known from gGo.
