I just joined GGCS and so I'm still feeling my way around. I have not made it to a SIG yet but intend on getting there one of these days. So, I'll simply defer to the active people. We began having daytime meetings a few years back because others did not like evening meetings that require driving after dark. In addition, our attendance has been very low the past few months, and if interest in the SIG is declining, we must take this into consideration and try to plan meeting times and content that more people want and need.. Trying to address this dilemma, we need to hear from you about the following: PLEASE TAKE A FEW MOMENTS TO REPLY TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS. WE NEED TO HEAR FROM ALL OF YOU! 1. Depending on meeting time, do you plan to attend the Quicken SIG in September and during the following months? 2. Would you attend evening meetings (Perhaps 6:30-8:30)? 2a. Do you PREFER an evening meeting? 3. Do you prefer daytime meetings? 4. One possibility would be to alternate meeting times, having the SIG meet on a morning one month, on an evenig the next. Would this work out for you if we reported what took place at each meeting here on the SIG list? 4a. Regardless of time, would you attend more regularly if we only met every other month? 5. What kind of discussion/class content would make the SIG more meaningful to you and lead you to attend more regularly? Please feel free to add any comments, pro or con. We need to know what is working and not working in our SIG. Having this disucssion on the List so all can share their opinions could be helpful, but if you'd rather have your comments kept private, reply "off list" to: ggcsquicksig@xxxxxxxxxxx USING THE COMCAST.NET ADDRESS (instead of freelists.org) means the message will NOT be sent to everyone on the list. Thanks for your help in planning a Quicken SIG that will better address your preferences and needs.
