Save Wednesday, April 29th for the Golden Gate Computer Society's April
General Meeting.
It will feature a talk on Cloud Computing and storage services, which
will be of interest to SIG members who are thinking about how best to
backup and save their Quicken data. The GGCS General Meeting will take
place at 7:15 P.M., in the Main Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian
Church, in San Rafael. Admission is free. Also note our "Introduction
to Computing Class" that is also offered free, at 6:00 P.M., same
location.

GOLDEN GATE COMPUTER SOCIETY GENERAL MEETING, WEDNESDAY APRIL 29TH
Cloud storage means different things and comes in different forms.
During the April 29 General Meeting, GGCS member Marcelino Nogueiro will
describe the major types of cloud storage, how they work, what you can do
with them. Some are used for printing while others are ideally suited for
transferring files from a phone/tablet to a computer.
Some are meant for having your data everywhere, while others are meant
for backup, which is quite different. Some are included free with
products; others have different pricing.
