Finally got to someone (redirected from on-line chat) who knew what happened. BoA says the server with the balances was (still) down. So, two questions remain for me: 1. why does their system design allow sending out known bad data when a server is down? 2. why don't their customer support staff (even at the second level) not know what happened? BTW, no one offered to let me know when the issue is resolved. If you want to examine the .qfx file that is sent to Quicken, 1. find the file in your download directory 2. Open with WordPad, or similar.
