"Of course the Earth is stationary! After all if it was moving all an aircraft
would have to do is to rise in the air and stay there until the Earth had
revolved sufficiently so that its destination lay below it. It could then land.
The fact that aircraft have to move forward proves that the Earth is
stationary!"
