Mike,

Santa was low on funds this Christmas, I was told.  I
did gather a few extra $$ from some relatives that are
being put towards the new GPSr.  

I did make it to the Garmin store in Chicago this past
week.  My wife actually looked at the in-car GPSs. 
And I showed her the one that I wanted.
