Bernie,
The standard windown replacement people (NuView & St. Clair Corp.) do an ok
job. The play all the salesman games with you but the quality of their
triple pane windowds are good at an ok price. We purchased NuView windows
about 20 years ago and they haven't given us any problems. We didn't
purchase a patio door from them at the time and since have purchased one
from Wilke Window and Door. They aren't the cheapest but they are a
reputiable company and we are very pleased with the quality and workmanship.
We had a weird door size (our house is about 50 years old now) and they were
able to get one made for us without it costing both arms and legs. Wilke
would be my first recommendation.
