Maybe that's his problem? He is used to parents that listen to what their
14
year old thinks is right and make their decisions based on that? Adults, of
course, should never make their own judgements without first checking with
a
14 year old to make sure we are thinking right.
That's what my kids think. It really does make life easier for me, not
having to think about anything important. :)
In all seriousness, and in response to all the messages posted here, I don't
think it's our place to parent him, and I don't think it's appropriate,
either. Give him a time out or not, but leave it at that.
