- To me, I agree with Bernie, but most of your "cookie-cutters" are short logs. It's hard to write a long paragraph and use the same one cache to cache. In my logs, I do "repeat" some in the first few sentences. I give the cache number for the day, the total for the day, and my total find number. I mention who I was caching with and our caching location for the day ("a caching day in St. Charles"). I then go into specifics for the individual cache. Sometimes I say a lot, sometimes I say little. I wasn't always this way. After placing a few caches, I got tired of seeing those "cut and paste" or "cookie cutter" logs, so I decided to stop doing them myself.
