It's a usb connection. And i'm not very familiar with usb. I've only ever had
1 other device (a web cam) that used usb.

I installed the driver off of the Trip & Waypoint Manager CD like the manual
said but, my 60cs is not being recognized.

I even tried downloading a cache from easygps to the 60cs to see if it was a
mapsource problem or a gps problem and easygps didn't recognize my gps either.
Infact, it still thinks i'm using the vista on com 1. I know there's probably
an easy fix to this but, I don't know how to do it. PLEASE help!

  Thanks & God bless!

  Eric

The GPS is not responding. Please ensure the following and try again:
      1. The GPS's interface option is set to Garmin or Host mode.
      2. The cable is connected to the correct serial port.
      3. The GPS is turned on.
I just upgraded my software, and needed to let it find the proper com port,
and I also had to reset the baud rate to 9600. I have the Legend, but I'm
assuming that your problems might also be solved by changing those options.
Default was 11,000 something and COM1, which weren't the proper values for my
unit.
