Thanks for the information. My wife and I are going to St Louis this weekend to attend a bodybuilding competition. I will make a stop by the Wall on Sunday morning before we return home. We had the Moving Wall visit Cape a few years ago and it is a sight to see. I would encourage all to go see it, better yet, take a trip to Washington DC and see the real thing in person along with the other memorials and the new WWII veteran's memorial opening next weekend. All of us owe a debt of gratitude to those who fought these wars to preserve our American way of life. It will be open 24 hours a day. Thursday's evening ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm and (weather permitting) include a Flyby by the Air National Guard. Ceremonies are scheduled to end at 8:30. (I just read something that says weather permitting there will daily evening flybys) Recognition Days: Thursday - Army Friday - Navy Saturday - Air Force Sunday - Coast Guard Monday - Marine Tuesday - Women Veterans The Wall is on the grounds of the Bellefontaine Neighbors City Hall, 9641 Bellefontaine Road, 63137. This is "next door" to Bella Fontaine County park. The Wall is being set up parallel to Bellefontaine Road so it's possible to do a "drive by". (unless they do a detour). Parking will be in the City hall parking lot and Fountain Lake Park (the softball part of Bell Fontaine Park). Handicapped parking available To get there, 270 North to South on Bellefontaine Road. From 70, Broadway (north) becomes Bellefontaine road once it crosses Riverview. Our aldermen have worked for a year and half in order to have this come here. It costs about $10,000 to host Moving Wall. I drove by this morning and it looks like it is being VERY well done. Right now there are about 30 men of all ages, teens to seniors, working in the downpour to get this set up. Several tents have been erected and will offer weather protection , military artifact viewing as well as computer assistance in locating specific names. Also on site in the evening will be Counselors to assist Veterans that may need help visiting the Wall. Items left at the Wall will be removed every evening and packed for shipment to San Jose, CA where a museum is being planned.
