- I got a response from SanDisk today and they're willing to replace the card...but I just bought another type of card, made by another brand. The C/F card works fine for storing documents, photos, etc... Should I replace the card if it's working fine otherwise? ~Chris > > From: "BottomFeeder" <BottomFeeder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: 2003/12/30 Tue PM 08:13:31 EST > To: <geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [GeoStL] Re: NGR: SD vs CF speeds > > - > > > > -= Russ =- > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Binder > > > > - > > I dunno if that person knows what they're talking about. > > Could be....could be. > > But it could also be the guy on Aximsite doesn't have a clue. > > I mean, if he thinks using CF cards in a digital camera (one of their first > significant uses) is 'basically general storage', then I do have to question > his knowledge.
