- Thanks Brian! I will do that. I can have a file with ALL maps and then localize those as needed. I only wish I could just update the total set on the GPS without having to wipe out the entire file and reload it. With City Navigator NT, Myotis Maps, My California Topos, My Custom Topos, and other trails and maps, it takes 5 hours to download to the GPS. I have not tried DL'ing to a card directly but I hear it is faster. When a map is updated or a new map added to a set, it would be nice to do just an update. Not erase everything and reload everything. Oh well... Mike Griffin NORTEL, USA Enterprise Proactive Services Sr. Manager - US Resident Engineering 622 Emerson Rd. Just plug into your computer and rename them as needed. The gmapsupp.img file would be the one that the 60CSx would use. By renaming the files on the card as needed you can basically turn the maps on or off. Couldn't I just update the files in it? I will have to look at it... I am so used to the Colorado where you can have multiple mapsets. I have most of my maps on a card, but I can also load another mapset with just my maps in it. What I used to do was have a card with all of the US on it and another card with IL MO and my maps. It did not take that long to just reload MO Il and my maps.
