I'm planning on doing the Ozark Trails caches - if anyone else is
interested let me know.

2nd Semi-Annual Ozark Trail Geocache

Date: March 2004

Location: Ozark Trail caches - near Ironton, MO

Difficulty: Be prepared for a hard one - lots of hills ? long hike

Strenuous walk
Steep inclines
Loose footing in some areas

Notes: There are four caches along the trail

Missouri's Highest cache
Wildcat Mountain cache
Mini Sauk Falls cache
Devils Tollgate cache

We will start with Missouri's highest cache at the top of Taum Sauk
Mountain (highest point in Missouri). Then hike through moderate
terrain to the great view atop Wildcat Mountain. Next a steep decline
to the unique Devil's Tollgate. On our way back we will visit the cache
at Mini Sauk Falls (highest falls in Missouri) and then back up Taum
Sauk Mountain.
Bring your own drinking water and personal items - there are no
facilities along the trail.

Carpool Meeting location: To be announced

Driving time: 1-1/2 hours each way

Approximate cache hiking time: 5 to 6 hours
